Alam Impian and Bandar Rimbayu newer builds are similar — the structure is usually fine, the ceiling is the upgrade.
Shah Alam falls under MBSA (Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam). For a standard non-enclosed car porch or patio awning on a landed residential property, a separate minor works permit isn't typically required if the structure is within your boundary and below a certain height. MBSA does enforce setback rules on corner lots and properties along main roads more actively than some other councils, so corner plot owners in particular should flag their situation to us at the site measurement stage.
