Every awning quotation in Malaysia comes down to one early decision: what goes on the roof. These are the four materials we fabricate with daily, compared honestly — including where each one is the wrong choice.
Two aluminium sheets bonded over a core, giving a perfectly flat, solid, architectural surface. It blocks light completely, handles Malaysian sun and rain well, and suits the clean-lined look of modern landed homes — it's the signature material of our Premium C Beam and Minimalist Beam series. Not the choice if you want daylight through the roof.
Lightweight and translucent — it keeps rain out while letting soft, diffused daylight through, which keeps the space underneath bright without direct heat glare. Embossed and tinted variants control how much light passes. It's the practical heart of our Classic Series. Trade-off: it reads as functional rather than premium, and hail-of-rain noise is louder than insulated options.
The premium option: full transparency, full weather protection, and the one material that makes a covered space feel open to the sky — see it in our Skylight Series. Laminated construction means if a panel ever breaks, it holds together instead of shattering. It needs the strongest supporting structure of the four and shows dirt more readily, so factor in cleaning access.
Metal roof sheeting with a polyurethane insulation layer underneath. The insulation does two jobs Malaysians care about: cutting heat transfer and muffling rain noise — the drumming that plain metal decks are notorious for. A strong choice for large covered areas where comfort underneath matters more than looks from above.
Want a solid premium look? ACP. Want daylight on a budget? Polycarbonate. Want the sky? Glass. Want quiet and cool over a big area? PU metal deck. And whichever you choose, the underside can be finished with an aluminium strip ceiling — the upgrade that makes any of the four look completed rather than constructed.
All four are fabricated with materials sourced from SIRIM- and ISO-certified manufacturers, and installed by our own licensed team — never subcontracted.
